What is Digitization?

Digitization or Digital Transformation is the ongoing process of changing in all spheres of public life, where digital technology is singled out as a key element in the development of human civilization. 

The term "Digitization" was first used in relation to the economic sphere by the American Computer Scientist Nicholas Negroponte in 1995.

- Acceleration in information dissemination speed, digital technology. 

- A term that centres on the normative and temporal influences of digital technologies. 

Digitization in Global Politics, Diplomacy and Public Diplomacy is the process of the increasing use of digital technology in world politics, diplomacy, public diplomacy and the subsequent adaptation of state and international institutions to new challenges and tasks.
